Scrappy closeup of some fabric I made from material leftover from fussy cutting hexies last night. Always on the quest for effective ways to upcycle even my tiniest bits. Also decided that this ‘new’ fabric will be easier to store and more satisfying to look than all those messy little bits in a box. At least until it tells me what it wants to become. Kinda pretty.
Another 100 one inch hexies in unique fabrics from my scrap bin prepped and ready for ironing and thread basting for #dameschaosquilt : maybe I’ll actually complete this quilt top during my #100dayproject - ha, fellow hexie makers - I made ya chuckle, didn’t I?
Hooray for wind and sun today!! Fridays I sculpt and it’s nice to expose my trinket dishes and bliss bowls to a little sun fire dry time.
This morning’s #stitchmeditation - just winging it - a little quilted scrap destash.
Guess what fun lil’ creature this #pincushion will be? About 2 hours of stitching and stuffing and coming up with a pattern so far. Time for me to stop the #littlestabs for the night.
